Derventio Housing Trust

Derventio Housing Trust has been established to take forward accommodation and support services previously operated by DHA.

DHA has recently undergone a period of evaluation, with particular relation to its two core services: Legal Advice and Accommodation and Support.

As the Accommodation and Support services have developed, it has become clear that they require a new focus and direction, different to that of the Legal Advice services. This re-focus will ensure that each service effectively address its own clients’ needs and achieves its specific aims and objectives.

Therefore DHA's accommodation and support services, including Milestone House, the SmartShare/SmartSteps projects, SmartSupport, SmartMove and all Housing Management services have now been transferred to Derventio Housing Trust. The existing Support and Housing Management teams have transferred with the services, ensuring continuity of care for all the vulnerable people that we help.

Derventio Housing Trust will continue to operate for the benefit of the community, ensuring these services continue to put clients’ needs at the heart of service delivery.
