Derby CLAC

DHA works in partnership with Moody and Woolley Solicitors, Smith Partnership and Derby Citizen's Advice and Law Centre to deliver Derby's Community Legal Advice Centre (CLAC).

The CLAC has been developed to address the needs of the local community, providing a seamless client journey from generalist advice and information right through to specialist legal advice services.  By offering an integrated, ‘one-stop shop’ approach, the Centre minimises confusion and disruption for clients, and maximises the number of people that are able to effectively resolve their complex legal issues.

Advice services include:

• Welfare Benefits 
• Family 
• Community Care

This joined-up approach not only improves access and referrals between services, but ensures better outcomes for clients who have need for advice in more than one area of law.
